Social Housing Manager
Social Housing Manager – 30-35k per annum + Bonus (DOE)

We are currently seeking to recruit a Social Housing Manager with responsibility for the overall function of this division, with an expected turnover in excess of £1 million in 2024.

These are key skills needed within this role as the ideal candidate will be expected to fully manage and develop our ever-growing Social Housing customer base.
To apply for this role, it’s essential that you have impeccable communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and be able to compile survey reports in a timely manner and to deadlines. In addition, a technical background in ventilation is highly desirable as well as a sound understanding of mechanical installations and different ducted ventilation systems.
The position of Social Housing Manager is a full-time, permanent post.
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
Essential Criteria:
3rd Level qualification (degree or similar) or 3+ years experience in a similar role
Proficient in all MS programs and a sound understanding of I.T generally, including CRM systems.
A full clean Driving licence is required.
Desirable Criteria:
A recognised qualification in building surveying, e.g. Certified Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB) or a willingness to enrol in order to achieve this level of qualification, supported by CSNI LTD.
The role is hybrid in nature and will require travel on a regular/daily basis to existing residential properties throughout Northern Ireland to survey for issues of damp, mould and condensation and report back on findings and recommendations to alleviate the issues uncovered. You will sometimes need to offer advice to tenants on how to reduce these problems and also demonstrate the correct use of existing or newly installed systems, where required.
You will set your own schedule and manage your diary to ensure we are responding to all survey requests within set timeframes as well as providing support and advice to various Housing Associations. This will require organising and attending conferences, workshops, CPD’s, site meetings and other events.
You will work closely with the installations Co-Ordinator to ensure that all Housing Association installations are prioritised and managed in accordance with deadlines and within the contracted framework.
